Certified Holistic Nutritionist, Restorative Wellness Practitioner,

Vegan Recipe Developer and Coach!

Hi guys and welcome to my page!

My name is Alexis Littlejohn and I am a proud graduate of Winston-Salem State University where I obtained my degree in Healthcare Management.  During undergrad I worked as a personal care assistant and rehabilitation technician. In my time of working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  I found that many of the challenges they were facing could be alleviated by addressing their diet and lifestyle factors.  After graduating I cleaned up my diet and began doing what I like to refer to as the work. It was time to reset and rethink nutrition as I knew it, not only for me but so I could begin to impact the lives of others. In 2018 I decided to enroll in American Fitness Professionals and Associates certification program to become a Certified Holistic Nutritionist. In 2019 and 2020 I wanted to take all that I knew one step further so I enrolled in Restorative Wellness Solutions certification program to become a Restorative Wellness Practitioner. These certifications allowed me to focus on imbalances present in the gut and identify hormonal imbalances in both men and women.

What is a Holistic Nutritionist and Restorative Wellness Practitioner?

The core of what I do focuses on functional nutrition which is the practice of considering all the factors of one’s health such as diet and lifestyle. My goal has been to help my clients restore balance in their lives through eating more healthfully and managing life's stressors through mindful practices. No more guessing at what you need. Instead we work with test to identify the problem at it's core so that we can begin the healing process.

My Southern Roots

Growing up in North Carolina I loved my southern cuisines and to be honest I still do. The difference between me then and now is I have found a way to still enjoy those dishes but in a way that doesn’t harm my body. Today I’ve consciously made the decision to practice mindfulness when fueling my body. With such a busy life traveling, I constantly get asked the question how do you sustain this lifestyle? Although at first it was challenging, I have managed to work through the kinks of the process, and I am here to share my experiences with you on how you too can transition to eating healthier foods.
